Consortium for N4/N6 Kinnegad-Kilcock Motorway Announced
NRA PPP ROADS PROGRAMME
N4/N6 Kinnegad-Kilcock Motorway
On 18th September 2002, the NRA received Best and Final Offers from 2 consortia in relation to the N4/N6 Kinnegad-Kilcock Motorway. Following completion of an evaluation of the offers, the following consortium has been selected as Preferred Tenderer:
Eurolink:
comprising Siac Construction Ltd, Cintra Concesiones de Infraestrucutras de Transporte S.A. and Ferrovial Agroman S.A..
The Authority now intends to proceed forward with this consortium with the objective of the award of this contract in February 2003 and the start of construction later in Spring 2003.
This Announcement coupled with the Authority's recent announcement of the short-listed Tenderers on the N25 Waterford Bypass and M1 Dundalk Western Bypass indicates the significant progress the Authority has made on its PPP Programme in recent months. In addition the Authority is pleased to report that construction of its pilot PPP Scheme, the Second West-Link Toll Bridge, is progressing on schedule and will be completed in August 2003.
