Change to Traffic Layout at M50/N7 (Red Cow) Junction 9

From 8am Saturday the 25th of October the following changes will be in place at the M50/N7 (Red Cow) Junction:

Outbound Traffic to Naas etc

• M50 southbound to N7 outbound traffic will travel under the new Bowstring Bridge via temporary traffic signals to Naas
(coloured red).

• M50 northbound to N7 outbound traffic will travel straight-ahead under the new Bowstring Bridge via temporary traffic
signals to Naas (coloured red).

• Naas Rd (R110) to N7 outbound traffic will travel straight-ahead under the new Bowstring Bridge via temporary traffic
signals to Naas (coloured red).

M50 Northbound To City Traffic

M50 northbound to City Traffic will use the New Free-flow Off-ramp linking directly to the City from 6am on Friday 24th October
2008 (coloured purple).

Clondalkin Traffic.

• M50 northbound to Clondalkin, M50 southbound to Clondalkin and Naas Road (R110) to Clondalkin will continue to use
the temporary U-bend to access Clondalkin via temporary traffic signals until the new Bowstring Bridge is operational in mid
November 2008 (coloured yellow).

Luas Park And Ride Traffic.

• N7 eastbound to Luas Park & Ride traffic will turn right at the old Monastery Rd Junction and travel through the temporary
U-bend to access the Park & Ride via temporary traffic signals. Traffic exiting the Park & Ride is unaffected.

Pedestrian/Cyclist Traffic.

• Monastery Road to Luas Red Cow Stop,pedestrian/cycle traffic will use a temporary footpath over the new Bowstring Bridge from
the 6th of November (shown dotted green).
• Naas Road (R110) to Luas Red Cow Stop,pedestrian/cycle traffic will use a new route parallel to the Luas Tramway
(shown dotted green).
