N25 Kinsale Road Interchange

| Description: | This project entailed the grade separation of the existing five-arm signalised roundabout at the intersection of the N25 Cork Southern Ring Road (CSRR) and the N27 Kinsale Road. The CSRR will be carried up and over the roundabout in an east-west direction. The overall scheme is 2.4 km in length. This Design and Build contract was awarded to Ascon Ltd and construction commenced in May 2005. The scheme was officially opened on 9th October, 2006.
This project has been funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan and Transport 21 and by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. |
