| Description: | 5.6 km of 2 lane motorway in twin-bore tunnel designed and constructed by the Nishimatsu-Mowlem-Irishenco consortium and managed by Dublin City Council. The tunnel is tolled for non-HGV traffic and was officially opened on 20th December 2006.
This project has been funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan and Transport 21 and by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund at 85% Aid. This project has been delivered through the Authority’s PPP mechanism. |
