| Description: | The construction of a 5.4 km bypass on the western side of Castleisland town linking the N23 Killarney Road to the N21 Limerick Road which commenced in May 2009. The contractor was BAM Civil and the road was opened to traffic on 22 October 2010 by the Minister for Defence, Mr. Tony Killeen, T.D.
This project has been funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan and Transport 21. |
