
N22 Farranfore to Killarney

| Description: | The scheme commences at a point on the N22 north of Farranfore village where the Gortatlea to Inchinveema scheme finished (opened 2005) and terminates on the existing N22 to the east of Killarney town at Clash. The proposed main line is approximately 21 km in length. The existing N23 will be diverted at a point 1.2 km north east of Farranfore village (near Kerry Airport) over to meet the new N22. It will connect to the N22 via a new roundabout at Gearha approximately 1 km north of the village. Killarney town will be linked to the new mainline.
