| Description: | Extension of Naas-Dublin dual carriageway to six lanes. The Design & Build contract involved the widening of 14 km of dual carriageway and the construction of four new interchanges, two pedestrian footbridges and a new local road linking Castlewarden to Kill, Johnstown and Naas. The scheme was officially opened on 15th August, 2006.
This project has been funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan and Transport 21 and by the European Union from the trans-European transport networks budget. |
