| Description: | This Design & Build scheme consisted of the construction of 40 km of high quality dual carriageway. It also included the construction of 6.5 km of single carriageway link road to Kilkenny City and three grade separated junctions. The scheme was opened by the Minister for Transport, Noel Dempsey T.D. on 9th September 2010.
This project has been funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan and Transport 21 and by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. |
