N4 Carrick on Shannon to Dromod

| Description: | The scope of the N4 Carrick-on-Shannon Bypass has been extended to include the N4 route length from the northern extremity of the recently constructed N4 Dromod Roosky Bypass scheme. The overall length of the scheme will be approximately 18 km. The scheme will also entail the provision of a major bridge crossing over the river Shannon. A route has been selected and preliminary design, EIS and CPO preparation has commenced. Approval to proceed to statutory processes is dependent on future funding.
