| Description: | Wide-median dual carriageway which bypasses Limerick City on the south, around to Annacotty on the Dublin Road. The scheme involved the construction of 11 new bridges, 2 of which are railway underbridges and 1 over the Mulkear River. The scheme was officially opened on 31st May, 2004.
This project has been funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan and Transport 21 and by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. |
